What is BOMA Georgia?

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia represents one of the largest industries in the state of Georgia—commercial real estate. BOMA Georgia membership includes building owners, property managers, facility managers, and building engineers.

    2015 May Delegate Newsletter

    On April 20, Atlanta City Council passed an ordinance that will require properties over 25,000 square feet to comply with energy and water efficiency requirements. Properties over 50,000 square feet will need to complete their first benchmarking report for 2014 energy and water usage by July 20. BOMA Georgia is hosting three educational events to ensure that property managers and owners are aware of the new requirements and have the tools to remain in compliance. These seminars are free for all and run from 9 until 11:30 a.m. Dates and locations are listed below.

    BOMA eNewsletter Mid-May

    On April 20, Atlanta City Council passed an ordinance that will require property owners to benchmark their energy and water use and conduct an energy and water audit every ten years.

    BOMA Georgia, in partnership with Central Atlanta Progress, Midtown Alliance and Livable Buckhead, will hold three, free educational sessions to inform property managers about the requirements of the ordinance, as well as how to utilize benchmarking tools.
